- Completely edge the grass around the perimeter of the driveway to fully expose the entire surface area. Pull back any mulch or stone touching the sides of the driveway. Quality sealcoating should completely seal all the asphalt including the sides of the driveway as well as the top surface.
- Tape and protect sensitive areas as needed (pavers, concrete sidewalks, masonry, etc.) adjoining the driveway. We pride ourselves in keeping sealer where it belongs…on your driveway.
- Remove dirt, debris, moss and mildew with high powered commercial grade blowers, wire brushes, torches, mechanical steel bristle scrubbing machines and brooms. Inadequate surface preparation leads to poor sealcoat adhesion. We spare no effort in thoroughly cleaning your asphalt. It is paramount to a great sealcoating job done right.
- Treat any oil or gas stains with pavement primer.
- Apply crack sealer to significant cracks in the asphalt.
- Apply commercial grade sealer to every inch of asphalt. We use the highest quality sealer and invest in fortifiers and silica sand for beauty, protection, and longevity.
- Erect a barrier of stakes and tape at the end of the driveway to close the driveway.
- Return to inspect your driveway and remove the stakes and tape. We do not leave you with the job of cleaning up after our work. It is our job to professionally sealcoat your driveway and clean up so you can use and enjoy your beautiful and protected driveway.
